Installation & Utility Connections

A line sketch, connection schedule and available services turn an equipment enquiry into a practical installation review.

01 / Practical selection

Check the room and access route

Give usable floor space, ceiling height, equipment access and service-clearance requirements. Include any restrictions on bringing a skid into the building.

Request the agreed general arrangement before committing to pipework or site modifications. Vessel inspection, pump service and panel access should remain possible after installation.

02 / Practical selection

Map the product and service connections

Describe inlet and outlet connection positions, pipe sizes and the required downstream pressure. Record electricity and any cooling-water, compressed-air or other services needed for the proposed scope.

The exact consumption and connection values should come from the selected configuration. Ask for a utility schedule rather than treating a reference image as a final installation drawing.

03 / Practical selection

Define the control handover

List upstream and downstream equipment and the signals available from the line. State whether the deaerator needs to follow an existing flow setpoint or supply status and alarm information to plant controls.

Agree startup, shutdown, cleaning and product-changeover responsibilities. A clear division between equipment supply and site installation helps identify the work required before commissioning.

Common questions

Installation & utilities questions

Can the enquiry start with a simple sketch?

Yes. Show the neighbouring machines, product direction, buffers and available space. More detailed drawings can follow during configuration.

Where are the exact utility requirements?

They should be stated for the selected equipment configuration in the quotation or utility schedule.
