Deaeration trial and configuration

Aroma and volatile boundary in vacuum deaeration

Define oxygen removal and aroma retention as separate acceptance objectives, with paired product samples and condensate review.

Start with the measurement boundary

Define oxygen removal and aroma retention as separate acceptance objectives, with paired product samples and condensate review.

State the product objective

Identify aroma-sensitive components, desired sensory outcome and any analytical method. Removing gas under vacuum can also change volatile components; an oxygen result does not prove aroma retention or deodorization.

Follow vapour and condensate

Define the condenser duty, cooling conditions, vent route and whether recovery is in scope. Keep collected condensate identifiable so the team can review product carry-over or volatile loss without assuming it is clean water.

Use paired product samples

Retain inlet/outlet sample identity, temperature, vacuum, flow and residence conditions. Agree sensory or analytical acceptance before the trial. A condenser photograph or a generic recovery option is not a measured retention result.

Record your product and configuration

Download the blank configuration and trial data sheet. It contains no oxygen measurements, model ratings or completed case study.
